      Expensive to get in. Worth getting English heritage membership if you are going to visit a few more places as it will then pay for its self. The castle it’s self is excellent, one of the best in the UK. The keep is in great condition with intact roof and floors. There is history here going from the Romans all the way to the cold war. They often put kids entertainment on too
